The Masters Cleanse – How Does The Master Cleanse Work?

What is the Masters Cleanse?

Masters Cleanse is a regimen of a low calorie, cleansing diet that is going to make you feel a heck of a lot better, cleanse your intestines, and help you lose some of those pesky pounds. It is a combination, essentially, of a lemonade diet, salt water drinks, and laxatives that will purge your body of excess fecal matter and the crap – no pun intended – that is junking up your system. It is recommended by a noted herbalist and used by thousands to achieve a more balanced body.

Masters Cleanse First Phase

So, how does the master cleanse work? The first phase is known as the ease in and is recommended by most Masters Cleanse experts. It consists of a few days of eating on a strict regimen. The first day consists of eating whole, non processed foods. The second day involves consuming such things a juiced fruits and other all liquid foods, such as soups and broths. On the third day, drink freshly juiced oranges – perhaps add a little maple syrup for calories. By this time, your mind and body should be ready for the main phase of the diet.

Masters Cleanse Middle Phase

The middle phase consists of the lemonade diet and the colon cleanse. The lemonade diet is a mixture of freshly squeezed lemon, maple syrup, cayenne pepper, and pure water. This mixture is consumed three to six times a day as hunger dictates. It is meant to keep you on a low calorie diet and help to reduce the amount of stuff that is in your system. Perhaps the most important part of the diet is the bowel cleanse. This can be done by using laxatives or a salt water flush. The salt water flush is designed to “go right through” you and make you have a bowel movement. Do it when you are near a toilet and chug the liter of water as fast as you can. By stimulating a bowel movement, you clear your colon of all that it is holding. This can equal a twenty pound weight loss just by clearing your colon of all that has been built up for so long a period of time. The recommended time period for this part of the journey is ten days. Most people would not recommend less than that. Be prepared for liquid bowel movements for most of the ten days. This is a good sign and means that your bowels and body are being cleansed.

Masters Cleanse Last Phase

The last phase of the diet is known as the ease out. It is basically the ease in phase, but in reverse. Day one is orange juice, day two is juice foods, and days three if the non processed foods. The aftermath of the program is to adopt a healthy lifestyle and eating plan. It is only by eating good foods and watching your health that you will be able to keep the benefits of the Masters Cleanse for a longer period of time and to keep the weight off that you have lost.

How the master cleanse works is by cleaning out your body with low calorie foods and repeated enemas to clear out all that has been collecting in your body – perhaps for as long as decades! Imagine how good you will feel if you aren’t carrying around that weight and those toxins. It is definitely worth a shot, but be sure to check with your physician or herbalist first to make sure you are not going to exacerbate any prior conditions you may have. Be safe, eat well, and rid yourself of toxins. It’s that easy.
